The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad marks the final film in the Disney War Time era. After this, the studio would return to prominence with the release of Cinderella. Which would then lead to the Silver age of Disney. As excited as I am to review those movies, I do acknowledge that this film isn't bad either.

Becky Sharp? Sherlock Holmes? Oliver Twist, perhaps? Any one of them would be an excellent choice. But as the most fabulous character of all, I nominate a toad. J Thaddeus Toad, Esquire.
